Question:
Parts Identification request. Bought Dutton Lansing Trailer Jack, sidewind, with wheel, similar to DL67MR, 1,000 lb, May 2022 through amazon. The plastic handgrip split and the rod inside severely rusted becoming almost non-usable. This is not a warranty request, but a parts request for the replacement handle rod and plastic handgrip pieces.

Hey George,
The Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # DL67MR uses part # DL88XR for the handle. To replace the handle you'll need to pop off the cap on top and pull the little shear/roll pin you can see sticking up from the gear in the picture below. You can then pull the handle out and swap in the new one. Now would also be a great time to lube up the gears with some marine grease # L74FR to keep them working and protected from any water that could've potentially got inside the jack.

Hey George, how did the handle replacement go on your Dutton-Lainson trailer jack? Did the new handle fit and operate smoothly after you greased the gears? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
