Can Redarc Tow Pro Liberty Install in 2016 Toyota Highlander

Noticed that RED24FR is not confirmed to fit 2016 Toyota highlander, but watched video of 2019 install. Pretty sure it would fit. I have a 7 wire plug installed my highlander, but I would need the wire and breakers needed to run from back to battery and dash. I would also need the rectangular for the dash. Can you confirm the RED24FR will work in my 2016 limited platinum highlander and let me know the p/ns for the breakers, wire and ?

Hey Brendan, for your 2016 Toyota Highlander you would want the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED52VR which comes with the universal wiring harness and then for a dash mount you would want the part # 331-TPSI-002.

To install this we don't have any custom fit wiring for your vehicle but you can use the install kit part # 5506 which comes with everything.

Yes you need the diode arrow to point towards the brake controller. That will allow the voltage to travel into the controller but not backfeed back on to the Highlander in any way. If you need a diode we have the part #RM-690.
