2025 Honda Accord SE We have two Aventon electric bikes, will this rack work if I put it on my Honda Accord?

Hey Todd,

The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HLY94FR only has a 35lb per bike capacity so it will likely not be rated high enough to handle the weight of your bikes. From what I can see Aventon's range from 41 to 73lbs. Most e-bike racks are rated up to about 60 - 65lbs per bike with very few being over that. Do you know what your bikes weigh or can you tell me the model so I can look it up and see what's going to work?

Thank you for the response. Yes we have a Aventon 500.2 and an Aventon 500.3 step through. Thanks for your help!

@ToddM So we're looking at roughly 54lbs per bike then. In that case I recommend the Swagman Current Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # S76SR. This rack has a per bike capacity of 60lbs, the wheel cradles have enough range to fit your wheelbase/tire size, and a ramp is included to help load and unload your bikes. You will need a frame adapter # S57FR to give the rack something to hold onto since these step through frames are so deep. Since your Honda Civic should only have a 1-1/4" trailer hitch you'll need to remove the 2" adapter sleeve on the shank of this rack in order to mount it. You'll definitely want to hang onto that sleeve though incase you ever wanting to transfer the rack over to a 2" hitch.
