How do I wire an existing rocker switch to a solar smart arm and not power the arm switches on the arm?

Art, to wire your Solera Smart Arm Electric RV Awning Arm # LC759404 to a rocker switch, you'd just need to wire that red wire to a 15A fuse, and then to the positive post on your battery. The Smart Arm Control also has a red wire that runs to a 15A fuse and then to the battery.

The rocker switch all ready has power and works out to the upper wall where the arm mount is mounted. I am just trying to get the arm to work from inside not the out side control.
