Hello Joshua,
Yes, the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1019 will fit your 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali so long as it does not have the CarbonPro bed (there are no hitches for this bed). And for removal, yes a section of the exhaust heat shield will need to be removed; you can see this on page 2 of the instructions linked below.
The only other thing you'll need (if you don't have one), is a gooseneck wiring harness, part # 41157.
