Question:

I have a Curt tow bar I bought from you guys. What Base plate would I need for A 2011 Mini Cooper S convertible to match up to my Curt tow bar set up?

Hey Timothy, the Curt tow bars are compatible with the Blue Ox base plate kits so for a kit compatible with your 2011 Mini Cooper S convertible you'd want the part # BX1307 and you'd be set.

@TimothyT For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
