Question:
A 4x8 trailer with 5 x 4.5 hub. I want the hubs to match the rims I have for my car hauler which is 1/2" bigger. Is there a hub I can swap out to accommodate this without changing the entire spindle?

Hey Rich, it sounds like you are looking for a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern trailer hub which we do offer but only if the axle is a 3,500 lb axle. For a hub/drum we have the part #AKHD-550-35-EZ-K or for an idler hub you'd want the part # AKIHUB-550-35-EZ-K.

I have 5-4.75 hub and my new rims are 5-4.5! Would a 1" adapter w/ 12x1.5mm studs work? How much for a bearing seal kit for the 4.75? The cost of 4.5 hubs? I'm waying my options and any help.is appreciated. Thank you!!!
