What is Needed to Add 100 lb Propane Tank to RV with Two 30 lb Tanks

Question:
I want to add a 100 propane tank to my camper that currently has 2 30 cylinders, to run the furnace and range. I would like to have the 100 tank and both 30 tanks connected to the crossover valve and not need a separate regulator, allowing me to have a total of 160 of propane to use. What do you suggest for this application?

Hey James, to add a 100 lb tank to your two 30 lb tanks, I recommend the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose - Type 1 Valve - Quick Disconnect, Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103615. This will allow you to connect the red fitting to one of your tanks and the pigtail from that tank to the brass side of the T-fitting. Then you will use the POL side of the 6 foot hose to connect to your 100 lb tank and the quick connect end to the T-fitting. Make sure your quick connect fitting is open and you'll be all set for using your 100 lb tank.

Hey James, how did things go adding the 100 lb propane tank with the Sturgi-Stay T-fitting? Did the setup let you run all three tanks the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar connection.
