Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the MEC 60 inch RV propane quick disconnect hose. So folks, maybe your camper or RV already has an exterior propane quick disconnect, but your grill or other propane appliance needs to sit farther away. This will give you five feet of reach without having to modify that existing system. So 60 inches, five feet.
As you can see, you get the male quick connect on one end, the female on the other. They do give you a nice rubber plug to keep dirt and debris out. This is two things in one here. It keeps this ring from being able to pull to release the hose when it's connected, but it's also a shutoff valve preventing gas from coming out once you have this disconnected. So keep in mind this always needs to be closed whenever it needs unhooked.
Then when it is hooked back up, it needs to be open and it also prevents that from accidentally being opened up. So again folks, 60 inches. It is intended for low pressure propane systems. So you want to verify both the connection style and where you're connecting it in your setup. Before you order, make sure it's the right kind of hose for what you need.
