Your RV's propane hookup isn't always where you want to cook. This 12' hose connects a compatible grill or appliance to your RV's propane supply, giving you more room to set up away from the RV.
Your RV's propane quick-connect may be right beside the camper, but that's not always where you want a hot grill, cooking smoke, and grease. This 12' hose gives you room to move a compatible grill or other appliance farther from the RV while still using the propane supply you're already carrying.
Disconnecting an appliance while propane is still flowing can release flammable gas at the connection. The included shutoff valve lets you stop propane flow at the hose before separating the quick-disconnect fitting.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this MEC Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose. Now, I do have this bundled up here with some cable ties here just to make this more manageable, but this is gonna be a 12-foot-long, propane extension hose that's gonna be designed to give you more flexibility when connecting a compatible grill or outdoor propane appliance to your RV's propane supply. The main idea is that you don't have to set up your grill right next to the RV just because that's where the propane hookup is. You can move your cooking area farther away from the camper, keeping some distance between the RV and the heat, smoke, and grease from cooking.
So, as I mentioned, this hose is 12 feet long or 144 inches with a quarter of an inch inside diameter. On one end, you're going to get this quarter of an inch female quick disconnect fitting with cap. And the cap, as you can see here, is tethered. And then on the other end, you're going to get a quarter of an inch male NPT connection. These fittings are important to check before picking this up because you do wanna make sure that they are going to match both your RV's propane setup and appliance that you plan to use.
The quick disconnect is going to be convenient because you're gonna be able to connect and disconnect it by hand without needing tools. And there's also a shutoff valve that's built into this. So, you're gonna be able to stop the propane, the flow of propane, before separating the quick-disconnect fitting. But it's a very durable hose. It's gonna be a very easy connection.
