Looking For 3,500 lb Hub/Drum With Threaded Holes For Lugs

Updated 04/14/2026 | Published 09/25/2024

Question:

I have a 1978 Dutchcraft trailer. It has a hub marked KA90831. It appears to be 10x2 with a bolt pattern 5x4.5. It does not have studs. It has threaded holes for the lugs. Do you have something like this. Thx

Hello Russ, thanks for reaching out. We do carry hubs that are 10"x2" drums and have the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern such as part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. All of the hubs we offer have wheel studs though, and we do not offer anything with threaded holes for lugs. It sounds like your trailer uses an older style hub that really isn't readily available anymore. At this point I would have to recommend switching to the new style hubs with studs if possible.

Hey Russ, did you end up switching to the newer hub style with studs for your Dutchcraft trailer? Knowing how that worked out could help others with older setups like yours.

Hey Jesse -- I'm in the same boat. If I replace the hub, will the same wheels/rims still work? using lug nuts on the hub studs instead of the lug bolts that they came with? Thanks! Ty

@TynanH Yes the same wheels will still work if you replace the hubs. That style of wheel is still lug-centric so they will work fine as long as the bolt pattern matches up.
