Recommended Converter to Charge Generator Battery

We have a Onan Generator in our trailer, and the unit does not charge the battery it starts and gets power from. we are thinking about installing a converter that the generator will feed then the converter will charge the battery the generator runs off of. what do you recommend.

Instead of a full on converter like the # 34266168 I would get a battery charger like the NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger # NOC54FR. This will still plug into an available outlet on your generator and then connect directly to your battery to keep it charged/maintained. It is compatible with wet cell, gel cell, AGM, enhanced flooded, maintenance-free, and Lithium-ion batteries.
