Recommended TPMS For A 2022 Ford F-450 And 2023 Airstream Globetrotter Travel Trailer

Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/19/2024

Question:

I have a 2022 F450 pulling a 2023 28’ Globetrotter Airstream. I’m looking for the Ford compatible TPMS for the trailer. Do you offer those sensors? Thanks.

Hey Michael,

We don't sell Ford branded TMPS but we do have systems that would be compatible with your F-450 and Airstream. Assuming your F-450 has dual rear wheels you'd have ten wheels in total and would want to go with a system like the TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM56FR.

This system includes 10 sensors that would all require a valve stems rated for 65 psi or higher. Your F-450 should require 75 psi so I know it's good but you'll want to check the valve stems on the trailer to ensure they're rated high enough. Lower rated rubber valve stems can bend under the weight of the sensor while moving and end up damaging the valve stem over time. If yours are rated lower you can swap them out with a metal one like the # AM20906 (fits 0.453" and 0.625" rim holes).

I've attached a short video below where Shane will show you this system in use and go over how it works.

Hey Michael, how did the TireMinder i10 TPMS work out with your F-450 and Airstream setup? Did the sensors pair smoothly with your system? Your feedback could help others looking for a similar tire monitoring solution.
