Question:

Looking for air bags for a Chevy 2500HD ZR2? I am not afraid of a little fab work. Air Lifts site states that they do not have anything that works on a ZR2.

Hey Jim congrats on the new truck! You won't need to fabricate anything. I checked with Firestone and their air bag kits do work with your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the ZR2 package.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs item # F2709, you were looking at, are compatible with your ZR2 package. These air bags have a 7,500 lbs capacity that will level out the rear end of your Silverado when you are towing a trailer or hauling a heavy load in the back. All mounting brackets and hardware are included for installation.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F99VV to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.

Jerred H. Thank you for the reply and valuable information regarding air bags and a Chevy HD 2500 ZR2. I pick the truck up in the next week or two then I will be ordering the bags.
