Replacement 6-Bolt Channel for Coupler on a Steel Point D714 Dump Trailer

I own a Steel Point D714 dump trailer. I need a new 6 bolt flat plate 5 position coupler channel. The plate portion is perpendicular to the channel. I can send a picture of it if necessary.

Hey Troy, thanks for reaching out!

To replace the 6-bolt channel I recommend installing the Demco 6-Hole Adjustable Channel Bracket # DM66134 which is rated for up to 21K and will need to be welded onto your trailer.

Good question; the bolts in the Hardware Kit for Demco Adjustable Channel Mount Couplers #DM6166 should be torqued to 150 lb-ft during install of a Demco coupler like #DM14040-81 to a bracket like #DM66134.

The Demco 6-Hole Adjustable Channel Bracket #DM66134 is pretty thick. The steel thickness used for this is 7/16 of an inch.
