Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number DM66134. This is the Demco 6-Hole Adjustable Channel Bracket. This channel bracket is going to offer five different mounting positions for your ball coupler, or lunette ring, or clevis on your trailer. Position 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. It is a weld-on installation. It's going to have a nice raw steel finish to it, so it's going to require less prep work when you are ready for your installation.
It's made from sturdy half-inch solid steel. It's going to offer a weight capacity of 21,000 pounds. I'm going to flip it down this way. That way, we can go over some basic measurements here. The overall height, that's going to measure about 12 inches. The channel width, inside edge to inside edge, it's going to be about 3 inches wide.
Outside edge to outside edge is almost 4 inches. The whole spacing on this unit, taking the measurement center on center, that's going to be 2 inches, and that's going to be the same for each set. The whole diameter is going to measure 5/8 of an inch, so it is designed to accept 5/8-inch diameter bolts. Again, that overall width is going to apply to the backside too. Again, that measured about 4 inches. Now, I do have a lunette ring here today just to show how it would fit inside our channel bracket.
Once you have it in there, you can adjust it to whatever height you need, and then you need to install your hardware. That's one of the really neat things about the adjustable channel bracket is you can change the height of your ball coupler, your lunette ring, and your clevis to fit your application. That's going to do it for our review of part number DM66134. This is the Demco 6-Hole Adjustable Channel Bracket. .

The price and shipping i will rate perfect. The quality of the product is perfect. I would note that C45922 pintle hook does not fit with DM66134 channel mount. The channel is 2 7/8" wide in the center and the C45922 pintle hook is 3" wide at the mounting holes. I would recommend addressing this in the listed description of the channel. I quickly resolved this issue as i own a machine shop. Others may take issue with fitment. Overall both products rate excellent. I REALLY like the thickness of the channel bracket. The extra cost of the 20K hook combo was money well spent. The extra cost of the 21K channel was also money well spent.
I was very impressed by the size of this channel 1/2 steel bent not welded together but one piece of medal. The adjustable channel coupler fit very nicely inside the channel. I'm very glad that I when with the 21000# upgraded channel over the original one that I had picked out. For a few bucks more I have some thing here that I will never need to replace again.

It is very stout, but the dimensions listed on the website are not accurate. This channel is NOT 3" inside width. the one i received is only 2 7/8". I will be returning.

Sorry it wasnt the fit you needed. It does say on the product page in the specifications that it is approximately 3 and 2-78 is really close to that.
Built like a tank and good steel to weld to.
