Which Roadmaster Base Plates For 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara For Flat Towing

I have a motorhome with a Falcon 2 tow bar. Sold my 2017 Jeep Wrangler and now must fit up a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4 door for flat towing. 1 You list 2 base plates rm35g and rm521453-5 what is the difference. 2 The Jeep has the Safety Group which includes Park Sense, Roadmaster states you need kit rm47zr to wire the taillights. The Curt kit c96jr makes no reference to the Park Sense issue and looks simpler to install. 3 I have an Even Brake system I will be using. The phrase ignition in the tow position is used does that mean key off. Also, it states I will need to install brake light switch 751490 and not the relay the 2017 Jeep used. Hey Don,
So the Roadmaster # RM35GR only fits Jeeps with that have a factory steel bumper that has a winch on it. Your 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara won't have that so the correct base plates are the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5.
As for the wiring, that is correct the Curt harness does not mention ParkSense as it is not for those Jeeps with Parksense. If you have the ParkSense you will need the Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights # RM63MR.
The tow position for the Even Brake # RM-9400 is referring to whatever the key position needs to be for a vehicle to be towed in and is not specific to your Jeep. So it's whatever position you put your key in when you're towing your Jeep, which I do believe is off. And I can also verify you do need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 and 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332.
