Hey Todd, thanks for reaching out!
The TorkLift Tie Downs # TL67DR is the standard design while the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL44PR is the same thing, just upgraded to aluminum for better corrosion resistance.

Yes, Paula S. was extremely helpful. Apparently you sell almost none of the aluminum version from what she said. She also said that it appeared that you lumped both the aluminum and steal versions together in your ratings, something that should be corrected I feel. My thanks to all etrailer employees for your great service. I have bought many items from you going back decades and I have always been happy with your service and pricing. Thanks, Tom

I understand the difference between the TL67DR and the TL44PR as far as the corrosion difference is concerned. I have a 2025 GMC 3500 HD SLT 4x4 with X31 off road package on it, so those are my choices of kits. I do use the truck to launch my boat in and out of salt water, however it would be rare that the rear frame tie downs would be subjected to the salt. Of course I wash everything with fresh water every time I use a launch ramp. My question is how good is the powder coating? Have you had any complaints that the parts rust over time? My next question is has anyone that stepped up to the TL44PR aluminum/stainless kit complained of cracking of the aluminum given the forces involved? I would hate to spend an extra $XXXfor better corrosion resistance only to have it be a weaker product that fails in the long run. Thanks, Tom
