Question:
I just received this adapter RM23SR and it didnt occur to me that my safety chains wouldnt be long enough. I bought it to use a bike rack while towing a camper, but I wont necessarily always bring a bike. Whats the best solution for lengthening the chains, but still make them usable when not using the adapter? Thanks.

Hey Gary,
You'll just need some quick link/safety cable extensions. These can easily be added on while using the # RM23SR and then removed when not. We offer a few different lengths to choose from:
8" cables # RM-910648-8
10" cables # RM-910648-10
12" cables # RM-910648-12
20" cables # RM-910648-20
