12 inch Wheel for Trailex SUT-200S Trailer

Question:

Hi, I have a Trailex SUT-200S aluminum trailer with 8” tires and 4 bolts that I will be using to transport a Sunfish which, at about 130 pounds, is very light. I’d like to upgrade those old tires and wheels to 12” load C. The trailer doubles as a dolly and so I put into salt water when I sail. I take the highway to go back and forth but my longest one-way distance is less than 50 miles. Btw, I wash down the boat and trailer after every sail to get rid of the salt water. Can you please recommend the wheel/tire combo that will fit my needs so my boat gets a nice soft ride? Thanks, Noel

Hey Noel, so the Kenda 4.80-12 tire and wheel part # AM30630 covers what you are looking for so it would be a great option. It's the tire size and Load Range you want plus it is on a galvanized wheel so it will hold up better to the salt water corrosion.
