Will The Lockrack Crossbar Adapters LR53FR Fit Factory Crossbars On 2014 Subaru Outback?

Question:
I’m looking to get those to mount an awning something like 23Zero https://23zero.com/product/car-awning-canopy-bushman-awning-78x98/ onto factory 2014 Subaru Outback crossbars. Would this adapter work for this, or would you suggest something else? I’ve been looking for awning mounting options and this is the only solution I can think that might work.

Hello Alex. The LockRack Watersport Carrier Universal Crossbar Adapters # LR53FR will fit the factory crossbars on your 2014 Subaru Outback. These are made for the LockRack watersport carriers. They have not been tested for use with a rooftop tent, plus we do not carry this Bushman brand, so I am afraid I don't have a way to tell you if they will work with the awning you mentioned or not. I can only recommend using them for their intended purpose which is for the LockRack carriers. You may want to try reaching out directly to Bushman to see if they can tell you what is compatible with their awnings.

Jesse - thank you for your response. Maybe you can suggest an awning that will work with stock 2014 Outback crossbars, or some mounts that will support an awning. The only option I see is Yakima Slim Shady. Anything beyond that?
