Thanks for reaching out, Russell!

You should be able to slide the old seal out and then the Replacement Hinge Seal for Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Covers # EX32560669 should just slide right in place of it.

If you can shoot me some photos of what you purchased and the problem you're facing I'd be happy to look into it further for you if sliding the seals doesn't seem possible!

Jon, in order to take pictures I will need to disassemble the cover again and would prefer not to do that until I have the information and am ready to install the new seals. I cannot be the only person in the world with the issue of the seal being crimped. This is not a one of a kind, it was a standard Extang Sloid Fold 2.0 cover made in 2018 and came from Koon's Chevrolet in White March MD with the purchase of my then new truck. There is one crimp on each side of the track about 1" from the edge. It looks like a crimping tool was used bending/punching about a 1/4" wide piece of the metal track into the rubber seal. This does not allow the seal to slide. What is the recommended process for replacing the seals.

@Russell I've attached a photo of the written instructions to the initial answer page I got from my contact at Extang.
