Even with a Fas-Top soft topper or tonneau cover, small gaps at the tailgate and front header can let dust and water into your truck bed. This D-shaped seal fills those gaps to better seal the bed against dust and water.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a quick look together at the Fas-Top truck bed weather seal kit. It's gonna fix tailgate and header gaps, and it's a stick on application. So folks, this is a D-shaped gasket here with a 3M backing here that you would just peel off and stick in place. And it's gonna run along the front wall of the bed to help block dust and water and around that tailgate as well.
And then on top of that, they give you this sealant here to help seal corners, joints. It's two fluid ounces. It's a fast-cure seam sealant. Again, it's gonna seal small joints and corners. And basically, you just wanna clean everything with rubbing alcohol, not included.
Before you install, get all the old dust, any kind of adhesive that you may have in place there already from something before, before you try to install this, and just simply follow the instructions that come with. It should be a pretty straightforward installation. Again, you are getting that sealant included as well. And that's gonna wrap up our quick look together, folks. I'm Steven.
Thanks for watching.
