Installing Curt Front Mounted Receiver # 31320 on 2006 Dodge 2500 4x4
Updated 05/21/2014 | Published 05/20/2014 >
Question:
I cant find access slots mentioned in instructions. Only holes are 5/8inch round holes. Closest access point is about 3foot away. I am guessing I will have to try and enlarge one of the 5/8inch holes on each side. Any suggestions? thanks

I spoke with my contact in the engineering department at Curt Manufacturing, who tells me that most, but not all 2006 Ram 2500 models had the access hole in the frame as shown in the instructions. If the front of the frame member allows enough room to pull the bolt and spacer through, you can go that route. Otherwise, you can use a 1-1/4 inch hole saw to make an access hole in the frame as shown in the instructions.
I have linked you to the installation instructions as well as to an install video.
