Question:

I have a roadmaster nighthawk 8k tow system that hat we got with the purchase of our Tiffin coach. What I need is the part for our 2018 Jeep 4 Door Rubicon. It has the push start button. What is the best system for this to mount to the Jeep? Also, the power cable has been drug so it needs to be replaced as well. Thanks!

To tow your 2018 Jeep Wrangler with your 8K Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 you'll need the Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5 which fits as long as you have the factory bumper. If your Jeep bumper has been swapped out for something else I'll need to know to see if a different kit is needed.

Then to replace the wiring on the tow bar you need the Coiled-to-Straight Cord for Roadmaster Tow Bars # RM-1676-7.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.

Hey Todd, how did things go getting the base plate kit mounted on your Jeep Rubicon with the Nighthawk tow bar? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar flat tow system.
