How to Figure Out Baggage Door Slam Latch For Motorhome

Question:
I am trying to figure out what type of replacement slam latch will fit my RV. I have a 2023 Jayco Greyhawk 30Z. It is the slam latch for the rear baggage door and the passenger side rear baggage door. They all look the same however I dont know for a fact whether they are or not. Thanks in advance!

Hi WIll,
I don't have any way of knowing what slam latch is on any specific RV, but in general they are the same. The only way to know for sure though is measure the size of the cutout, there's honestly just no way around it. That said, I think it's likely you have the 3-1/4" tall x 4" wide cutout and would use the Bauer Products RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # BA57FR.

Hey Will, did the Bauer slam latch end up fitting your Greyhawk’s baggage doors once you measured the cutout? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to match a latch on a similar RV.
