Hey Randy! I checked online and your 2014 Lincoln MKX weighs anywhere from 4,251 to 4,429 lbs depending on options. So unless you're hauling a set of weights in your SUV, you'll be well under that 5,000 lbs capacity your RV has.

As long as your 2014 Lincoln MKX is all wheel drive (AWD) or front wheel drive (FWD) you can flat tow it behind your RV using the parts listed below. If your Lincoln is FWD it can also be dolly towed using the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly item # DM9713045, you were looking at. However, if yours is the AWD model you have to flat tow it. The AWD models can not be dolly towed.

Here are the parts you'll need to flat tow a 2014 Lincoln MKX:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar item # BX7380

Base Plate Kit - Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX2625

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
