Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler Recommendation to Lower Gooseneck Trailer Nose More
Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 08/16/2024 >
Question:
Hi, I need to install a new coupler on my Bulldog gooseneck hitch. Looking for the type with the sliding latch rather than the drop in pin. Can I send you some photos of the existing coupler to avoid getting the wrong part? The trailer was manufactured in 2002. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out and providing the photos Rae Ann!
Since you're wanting to lower the nose of your gooseneck trailer a bit more I recommend checking out the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler # CG because it has the side lever instead of the handle like what you currently have.
This has a 4" diameter and is actually an upgrade to a standard coupler since it has cushioning built into the inner part of the coupler tube.
