Does Hole Need to Be Modified to Fit Greystone 31" Electric Fireplace if It's Larger Than Original

Question:
I ordwred a replacement electric fireplace for my rockwood 2017 trailer it arrived works but my son tells me it is a little larger than the original so it dies not fit. Any thoughts. I am handy enough to modify the hole but he is not.

Hey Mark, thanks for your recent purchase of the Greystone 31" Electric Fireplace # 324-000075!
Replacement fireplaces rarely are an exact fit for the originals, which is one reason why we try to list the cutout sizes.
The nice thing is that it's a little larger, so modifying the hole by cutting it out will be a little easier than trying to frame the hole in more to make it compatible.
I wish I had a trim kit or something that I could tell you would make it fit perfectly, but unfortunately that's not the case.
