Your brake actuator sits close to the trailer frame, and a straight hose just won't cut it. This 18" hose uses a 90-degree fitting to make that first tight turn without bending or twisting.
Connector Hose for Actuator: 18" Line links your brake actuator to the rest of your hydraulic system.
Flexible Rubber Construction: Ideal for foldaway tongues, disc brakes, and torsion axles; handles movement and vibration.
Brass Male Inverted-Flare Fitting: More pliable than steel, creates a stronger, leak-resistant seal, and resists rust.
90-Degree Fitting at One End: Angled end reduces strain on the rubber hose in tight spaces or sharp turns.
Meets Federal Standards: DOT and SAE Certified for safety and performance in hydraulic brake systems.
Leak Resistant: Rubber hose handles flexing and vibration without cracking or splitting.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this DeeMaxx Rubber Hydraulic Brake Line. Now, this 18 inch brake line is most often used to connect your actuator to the rest of your hydraulic system. The flexible rubber construction is perfect for pulled away trailer tongues, disc brakes and torsion axles. This is designed for any three sixteenths of an inch brake lines, the thread size is three eighths of an inch by 24, and the brass male inverted flare fitting on one end and the 90 degree bend on the other is gonna put less strain on the rubber lines. And because they're brass, they're gonna make a better seal than the steel fittings.
Because brass is more pliable, it's gonna help prevent leaks, splits, and corrosion. And the one eighth of an inch inner diameter is going to allow for smooth brake fluid flow. This is going to meet the Department of Transportation and SAE standards for safety. We do have other lengths and types available of brake hoses. If this isn't exactly what you're looking for, I'm confident you'll be able to find what you need by taking a look at the other options that we have from DeeMaxx and from other manufacturers as well.
If you do pick this up and you get this installed into place, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with the installation and the operation. You can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on the product page, and we would love to hear back from you. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

Works great
Product was exactly what I needed, high quality, easy installation and very fast shipping. Will order all my trailer parts here from now on.
Had to replace the brake line on my ez loader boat trailer.
This was a perfect and easy replacement. The fittings hooked up to the existing fluid cylinder and Tee block. Would recommend this product.
Part was exactly what I needed.
Arrived later then it was supposed too but ok I was not in a hurry.
Product came quickly and was packaged well. I will definitely purchase from Etrailer again when I replace the remainder of my brake lines or any other trailer needs!
The hose and the acuator i purchased are working like they should but the boat is not on trailer. I'm sure it will be fine. Thanks for your help.
Very poor quality on these brake lines. The brass fittings cross thread very easily.
Exactly what I needed for my freshwater boat trailer. Seems like it will is very good quality
Got this for my boat trailer great replacement line. I have brakes again
Fast shipping.
Great follow up.
Nice product, quick shipping.
Do not order this product. The standard fittings for 3/16 flared brake lines have 3/8"-24 threads. This has something else. I'm not sure what the threads are, maybe they're some metric thread that someone through would be close enough, maybe they were made with really poor quality Chinese dies, whatever the story, the end fittings would not thread into 3/8"-24 fittings, they would start and turn a few threads then jam. Yes, I'm sure it was the firings on the hose which were the problem. I tried multiple fittings from multiple sources which all worked together nicely. I even checked with some good quality US made 3/8" 24 taps and dies The fittings on this hose were the one's which were the wrong size. Also, the flares on both ends of the hose were damaged.
Awesome I finally found some flexible brake lines for my truck. I'm definitely going to be ordering more from y'all. I have a 2001 Toyota tundra and your brake lines have helped me tremendously because before my truck was busting the metal break lines over and over.
The DeeMaxx kit worked well after trying to figure out the brake lines and where they should run. Installing the disks was slow at first as I wanted to make sure I was doing it right the first time. Bleeding the calipers was most effective having my wife in the truck, brakes on, brakes off. The test run was a challenge as we live in the mountains and there is very little level ground, not even the Walmart parking lot. The truck and 5th wheel combo stopped quicker than I have ever experience in the 28K miles we have traveled since 2020.
Use lock tight to put on caliper bolts!
Great price great service quick delivery very happy
The hose and fittings are well made. The only negative is that the fittings require an 11 millimeter tubing wrench instead of 3/8".
Fit like it should
Fit exactly
Hooked up and worked excellent, everything was as advertised
Excellent quality to replace the hoses on my boat trailer that are corroded from saltwater use.
Shipping was a day late but hose appear to be high quality. will be installing soon
