I know the weight capacity of the ladder is 330 lbs, but I’m interested in the weight capacity of the bracket that the ladder hangs on. How much free-hanging weight can that bracket hold? Thanks.

The same 330 lbs but only if you attach it to the Lippert Ladder Receiver. The brackets on the Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder item # LC64HD are specifically designed to be compatible with this system so you don't have to lean the ladder on the side of your RV. It offers more lateral stability with the same capacity.
