Determining Normal Wear For Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Hitch Components

Question:
Looking for guidance on what is a “normal” wear pattern for an e2 trunnion hitch. I get that there should be wear where the spring arms contact the l brackets. What about the grunion heads? Not the pins themselves but the thicker part that is between the top and bottom pins? I have paint chipped off from what looks like metal to metal contact there? Could it be gram a very hard turn?

It is normal to see the wear on the Tunnion Bar # FA92-02-1099, L-Bracket # FA93-02-5150 and parts of the Trunnion Head # FA92-02-1044 on a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1000. Typically on the trunnion head you will add Lubricant # EQ91-00-4250 to the pins which go into the sockets on the Head # FA92-02-1255. There is a small flat part on the Trunnion head which can make contact with the hitch head as well. This is not an issue and you can place some of the lubricant on this area to help prevent it from wearing down.
