Question:

I have a 2020 transit 350 high roof extended van and installed hitch and all wiring harnesses including brake control module. Took to dealer and spent $680.00 dollars for them to tell me they think the control module is bad and they can get one any longer. Im very frustrated as it has been 4 months and I need to use to haul my boat. I need to have it so I can use 7way or 5 flat wire plug ins with reverse signal. Can you please help me out? Thank you Tom Smith

Hi Tom; since the factory wiring doesn't work you can completely bypass it. The # 118722 will give you a 4-way. Then you can use the # ETBC7 to upgrade it to a 7-way. The adapter that comes with this kit has a 4-way and 7-way connector so you will also need the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV Style to 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter # A10-7275VP to connect to your 5-way.

I just need to know what I need to get my existing wire harness to work for the round plug and 5 wire withe reverse wire as it has never been operable. No electric brakes

@TomS got it, I went ahead and updated the answer above. We don't have anything that can fix that module and get your existing wiring working but you can bypass it so you have working connections to be able to haul your boat again.
