Do Benton ShellRaiser Cargo Box Mounting Cables Have Requirements for Different Crossbar Sizes

Question:
I see that the cables have different settings for different crossbar sizes. Are there specific settings for a square bar vs a aerodynamic bar or is it just feel it out.

Hay Paul, thanks for reaching out!
The cables used to mount the Benton ShellRaiser Rooftop Cargo Box # B44FR don't have a specific setting for different crossbar dimensions, so it's more of a feel it out as you go kind of install.
If you have square bars you'll want to use the positions that shorten the cables more, but aside from that just try to get the cables as snug against the crossbars as you can.

Hey Paul, how did things go getting the Benton ShellRaiser cargo box secured to your crossbars? Did adjusting the cables for your square bars give you a snug fit? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same box.
