The Benton ShellRaiser # B44FR and Thule Sidekick # TH78GC have the same interior space, but that's about all they have in common.
The ShellRaiser is actually a better design due to it having dual-side access a wider crossbar spread compatibility, and an easier mounting hardware installation. The pricing of the Sidekick has more to do with the name behind it rather than a higher quality of materials or better features.
