What is the Difference Between The Tekonsha 3045-P and Your TK93VR?
Published 07/11/2024 >
Question:
Im confused, Im looking for the part number for the wire adapter for my Tekonsha p2. I recently removed the brake controller from my 2015 Grand Cherokee. I want to use it in my 2024 Grand Cherokee with factory tow package. The wire adapter I took out of my 2015, looks just like your tekonsha TK93VR. I have other folks talk about a 0345-P. What is the difference and which one will work on my new Jeep. Thanks for clearing the confusion.

I completely understand your confusion Michael. The Tekonsha part number 3045-P was replaced by the 3082-P which is our part # TK93VR. I hope this helps to clear things up.

So will the TK93VR work for my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Your website said can't confirm. But it looks exactly like the adapter I disconnect from my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
