For your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you're going to need a flat 4 trailer connector # 118727 and a 7 way trailer connector # ETBC7.
From here you can install a trailer brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR. This is an excellent option for your Grand Cherokee and will retain a clean factory look when installed, only exposing the control knob.
Unlike other brake controllers, this one minimizes all interior bulk, so you wont have to worry about banging your knee on it, or it getting in the way.
If you don't already have a hitch, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98901. This hitch is going to offer you the highest capacity at 6,000 maximum GTW and 600lbs maximum TW, as well as, the best for towing, and the easiest to install.
