Question:

I need to replace the backing plate on my dexter torqueflex axle. It is a 3000 lb axle Serial 122924444. do you carry this item

Hi Stuart,

Are you referring to the brake assembly mounting flange? If so you would need to have a qualified welder with the correct jig to hold the brake flange in place and weld it. This is typically more costly than just replacing the axle because it has to be so precise so that the the brake and hub assemblies line up perfectly on the spindle. @JamesonC I purchased the complete brake assembly and just bolted it back on. The rats had eaten the wires off of the brake assembly. I did not need a backer plate just one brake assembly
