Will the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank EQ90-02-4800 Replace a Reese Shank?

Question:
I have a weight distributing hitch setup which includes a Reese 2 hitch bar part 63970. My new F250 has a 2-1/2 trailer hitch. I would like to be able to keep the rest of my weight distributing hitch and just replace the hitch bar. Is EQ90-02-4800 the correct part to replace that? Thank you.

Yes, it is! The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank item # EQ90-02-4800 uses the standard bolt pattern for weight distribution systems. Which means the adjustment holes are spaced 1-1/4" apart like the item # RP54970 that replaced your Reese 63970 shank.
