Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Remote Not Finding System
Updated 07/03/2024 | Published 06/28/2024 >
Question:
I just installed a WirelessOne system .. I’ve installed well over 100 air ride systems with no issues .. my remote says “scanning” but never connects . I’ve triple checked my wiring , have pressure to the compressor , and to the manifold .. super disgusted for what these systems cost and can’t even function out of the box .. paper work says “should pair if not already paired with manifold ?? how does THAT work ? .. it sounds like AirLift has a problem they’re not sharing and by all the posts above they sure aren’t going out of their way to help anyone .. the online 800 number is a joke .. I’m never less than the 4th caller and no one ever answers .. this is rediculous

Hey Chuck, sorry to hear about all of the problems you're having!
When I spoke with my contact at Air Lift they said generally the issue you're having is related to a power or ground problem, especially if you aren't seeing the manifold during your scan.
If you are seeing the manifold then you'll either need to pull the 15A fuse or the main harness for at least 10 seconds to reset everything.
One other thing you can do is hold down both arrows on your controller to enter the menu and then go to the device options to see if there is a device available.

Hey Jon .. I pulled the harness in the manifold , double checked ground and pulled the fuse numerous times.. I’ve installed several of these and as a rule had zero issues.. one thing the instructions say would be confusing to a new installer and always tosses me a curve ball as well. Something to this effect but not word for word ; “if your having trouble pairing your controller then it may already recognize the manifold “ …. There’s never anything to tell you whether it’s pre-recognized therefor how would you know ? Lol .. as I said I pulled and re-connected everything including harness and fuse , rechecked grounds and still nothing .. I downloaded the App and it works first time , I woke up the remote and it was connected so not really sure what the fix was .. one thing I wish AirLift would include is an air gauge to show static tank pressure. In the event of leak this could help determine leaks tank side (pre-manifold) versus post manifold (shock side)!
