Do The Mounting Screws For The Replacement Dome for Dometic FanTastic RV Roof Vents Require Sealant?

Question:

what sealer do you use on the bottom hinge on the fvk1020-19 fantastic fan new cover to seal screws and hinge 1/2 on a 1995 born free camper i have the other max air vent over this vent for extra protection

The bottom hinge on the Replacement Dome for Dometic FanTastic RV Roof Vents # FVK1020-19 does not require a sealant as it does not go into the roof material or enter into the RV. With that said you could still put a small amount of silicone on the screws to help hold them in place and prevent them from backing out over time.
