Question:
I am looking at this Hydrastar electric over hydraulic marine actuator plug and play kit which seems to inlcude everything needed. My trailer currently has surge brakes, so in addition i will obviously need a coupler AND- with my current 4 flat wire- how do the trailer lights hook up to this plug and play system- is another connector needed? I assumevthe 7 way that plugs in to the actuator goes diectly into the round female plug on my bumper, and the breakaway and adapter attach to the other plugs coming from the actuator. How dobthe teailer lights connect and get power?

As your trailer has a 4-way you simply need an Adapter # PK12716 to connect to the Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # HS481-8067. The actuator, breakaway battery and module will all plug into each other through the included connector on the 7-way harness.
If you need help selecting the correct coupler to replace your surge coupler I would need to see what you have along with the weights for the trailer.
