Dometic 300 Series Toilet With Bad Odor - What Other Brand Of Toilet Can I use Instead?

I have a dometic 300 with the urine smell. Ive pulled it out and tipped it over and dumped out the sewage causing the smell. The problem I have is there are lots of people online that say dometic sent them a replacement and they had the same problem. The center of my flange is 9 1/4 from the wall. Is there any other toilet available that will fit to avoid having to gamble with another dometic 300.

Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. The bad smell is definitely a common complaint we hear about the Dometic RV toilets. We do have one other option that will work with the 9-1/4" center flange to wall measurement, the Thetford Aqua-Magic VI RV Toilet # TH97SE. This is a standard height toilet that requires only 7-5/8" from the center of the flange to the wall.

Hey Brian, how did the Thetford Aqua-Magic VI work out as a replacement for your Dometic 300? It’d be great to know if it solved the odor issue. Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same problem.
