Will hitch that works for a Grand Highlander work for a 2024 Lexus TX 350
Updated 06/01/2024 | Published 05/28/2024 >
Question:
I have a Lexus TX 350, which is basically the Lexus version of the Grand Highlander. 2024 is the first model year for these vehicles. I don’t see a trailer hitch for the TX 350 yet produced and am curious if the hitch for the Grand Highlander would work for the TC 350. A couple quick searches online have not yet revealed any answer. Thanks!

No, the same hitch for a 2024 Toyota Highlander would not be a fit for a 2024 Lexus TX 350. I checked and currently there are only OEM hitches available through a Lexus dealer. I wish that I had one to offer.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I did subsequently find someone who posted on a Lexus forum that one of the after market hitches for the grand highlander did fit perfectly on the TX 350. I can’t verify that but the only issue seems to be that the TC 350 (premium trim and above, at least) have a kick assist sensor below the rear number that the hitches interfere with. I’ve checked with my dealer and they are investigating but don’t have an immediate answer.
