Trouble With Kwikee Series 25 RV Steps Not Working With Control Switch

Question:
We have gotten out 25 series electric steps to work but the control button that is suppose to keep the steps retracted is not working. What can we do?

Expert Reply:
Sorry Deborah, I am a little confused with your question. The switch included with the Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly # LC3658373 when switched on should allow the steps to extend the first time the door is opened and keep them extended out until the switch is turned off and the door is closed.
If you are referring to the override for the ignition switch wiring this will override the manual switch and allow the steps to extend and retract with the door opening and closing.
If I misunderstood what you are saying or you are having a different issue then what I have explained please let me know.
