Will The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer Work On A 1-1/4" Bike Rack Shank In A 2" Hitch

Question:
I have a 2 inch hitch. Like many bike racks, mine is for both 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches. On my 2 inch hitch I simply use the adapter. Since the rack is basically 1 1/4 except for where it goes inside the hitch, will this anti-rattle stabilizer work or will it not bolt on due to the difference between the 2 inch hitch and the smaller 1 1/4 inch portion coming out of the hitch. Thanks.

Hey Matt,
The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007 is essentially just a U-bolt so you'd just need to tighten it up a bit more than normal to meet the 1-1/4" shank on your rack.
