Question:
Your installation video shows how to install electric drum brakes on a trailer that didnt have brakes. Since your trailer didnt have drums, do these brake kits include drums? I plan to replace my old trailer brakes with a new kit. If these kits dont include drums, should any maintenance be done with my original drums before I reuse them? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out, MikePA!
The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes Kit # 23-468-469 only come with the brakes.
For your current drums you'll want to inspect them for damage on the inside and you'll need to repack the bearings if that hasn't been done in a while. Also check and make sure the bearings and grease seals are in good shape. If all of that needs replacing you should be able to use the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K provided you don't have a really old trailer (like pre '90s).
