Hi Gene,

We may have a hub for you, though I'm not 100% sure if you are referencing the grease seal or bearing when you say it is tapered from 1-3/4" to 1-1/4". The issue here is that there isn't any standard hub that uses a grease seal with a 1.750" inner diameter and tapers to 1.250".

And hubs that have a 1.750" inner bearing and 1.250" outer bearing are all 6 lugs, such as the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-655-6-K so none with the bolt pattern you have. To find the right hub, it's really important to measure the spindle using a digital caliper where the bearings and seal ride, as shown in the below diagram.

Or sometimes you can find the bearing numbers directly on the bearings themselves when you take a hub apart. I have added a link below to our entire selection of hubs for you to come back to, or you can comment below with the caliper measurements or bearing numbers and I can see what I can find for you.

Is there any problems with putting the highest weight rated hub on a spindle as long as the bearings are the right size? I have 5500 pounds between my boat and trailer and have a duel axle trailer. A hub just seared off the axle and there was plenty of grease. I'm thinking the hubs were not rated high enough for the weight.
