Replacement 7-Way for Trailer Wiring

Question:
Facepalm forgot to unplug the 7-pin from tow vehicle…. Need to repair the plug: Which wire is hot and which is ground? Wires on unit are black and red. Thanks!

Hey Dennis, we have a replacement 7-way plug with the part # A7WCB which would work great to replace your damaged one. I attached a diagram for 7-ways for you to check out as well.

Thanks - Got it repaired…plug was fine, just had to reconnect the wires. Working again.
