Lowest-Profile A-Frame Trailer Jack For Tailgate Clearance
Published 04/29/2024 >
Question:
Is there be a lower profile jack option? One that can be operated with a cordless drill or impact would be nice. My electric jack extends about 22" above the top of the trailer frame, 12-14" would be ideal.

Hi Robert,
So there isn't one that can be used with a cordless drill (which would be an electric jack only) as all the electric A-frame jacks are all higher than the 12" to 14" you want. There is a manual crank jack you can use which I guarantee will allow tailgate clearance:
- Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K
The # 322-RDJ-2K will be just 7-1/4" from the bracket to the top of the handle when all the way down, and has 27-1/2" of lift.
